The Road Hammers
The Road Hammers are a five piece no-nonsense, mix of Country, Southern Rock and Blues singing songs of maverick culture and the open road.

The band is the brainchild of Jason McCoy, the 2004 Canadian Country Music Association Male Vocalist of The Year. The idea was born out of Jason's desire to develop a new project where he could sing a style of music which formed him as an artist, while paying tribute to the men and women who call the highways of the world their home. With a killer album, a revved up prime time TV series and an energetic live show, The Road Hammers get out there and work it hard. This is more than just a remarkable band - this is a musical experience. Strap yourself in and hang on; the ride is just beginning for The Road Hammers!

Project 86
Power.

If there is one word to descirbe Project 86 it would be this one. The band has built its reputation on it over the span of their thirteen-year career. From their intensity to their thought provoking lyricism, anyone

who knows Project knows the force that they bring. But on their latest release Picket Fence Cartel, they are exploring power from a new perspective - not only through heacy sounds but through asking powerful questions to the lister.

Project 86 is a band that has mastered the art of reinvention without deserting their foundation - which is why the band has remained so viable for so long. In fact one could argue that they have become the blueprint

for bands seeking longevity in an industry that is anything but stable. After 13 years together, and over 350,000 career albums sold they still show no holes in their armor.

The Jimmy Legs Band

Just a few short years ago, a few musicians got together to make a memorable evening for a special friend.  The event was such a success, they decided to keep the good times going and have been playing as The Jimmy Legs ever since.  Each member adds a unique layer to the mix that results in a solid band that delivers some sweet tones.

Niverville home boy Hardy Unrau pounds the driving low end on his bass guitar and provides the striking tenor vocals on classic rock songs.  Hardy’s animated stage presence sets the tempo and energy of the band.

Veteran drummer Bob Russell holds down the groove and provides the foundation of the band.  Bob has decades of experience as both a drummer and recording engineer, working with some of the best talent in the Canadian music industry.

Doug McMullin’s smoky voice and blues guitar playing have graced many stages over the years.   With Gretch in hand, Doug delivers the whole spectrum, from R & B to bone crunching rock.

If you’re wondering where that sizzle and twang is coming from, that’s Blaine Repko on electric guitar.  Although TJL rocks pretty hard, Blaine’s lead playing carries the unmistakable flavours of country and rockabilly.

In the course of the show, TJL is sure to play some favorite classic rock tunes, as well as take you down some less familiar roads.  You may notice a few songs you haven’t heard before.  Just to keep it interesting, TJL even sprinkles the set list with a few original songs, once in awhile.  As a special treat for Niverville, they’ll be accompanied by David Hasselfield, an extraordinary saxophonist who’ll turn up the heat with his aural improvisational skills.   So get ready to celebrate.  Put on your dancing shoes.  And be warned, it might get loud.
